Ohio Commercial Real Estate Exchangors Choose Officers

During its final meeting of the year on December 14, 2020 the Ohio Commercial Real Estate Exchangors inaugurated its 2021 officers.

President Troy Fabish with Keller Williams Consultants; Vice President Cole Griesinger with HER Realtors, Dianna Hall with Furman Tinion Real Estate and Recorder/Secretary Robert Eggleton with State Bank will lead the organization in 2021. Martha Hall, Keller Williams Greater Columbus, and John Toothman, ERA, will serve on the board of directors as two most-recent immediate past presidents.

OCREE meets virtually the second and fourth Thursday of each month via Zoom. When allowed to return to in-person meetings by the state; OCREE meets every Thursday at 8:30 a.m. at York Golf Club (7459 N. High St.) in Columbus, Ohio.

  • ATTENDANCE – 19 Realtors, 7 Affiliates, and 26 total.
  • 2021 OFFICERS ANNOUNCED – James Wootton swore in the 2021 officers during the meeting. Including President Troy Fabish, vice president Cole Griesinger, Recorder/Secretary Robert Eggleton, and treasurer Diana Hall. Martha Hunley and John Toothman will serve on the executive committee as the two most immediate past presidents.
  • FOR THE LOVE OF REAL ESTATE EXCHANGING – The postponed 2020 OCREE Marketing Session will be made up on February 15 as a one-day session that will take place virtually.
  • LEGISLATIVE UPDATE – Greg Hrabcak explained the importance of the new Commercial Real Estate broker lien law that was sent to the governor’s desk for signature this past week. It included more time for liens to be filed and non-prevailing party is required to pay all pre-judgement and litigation expenses.
  • NEXT MEETING – January 14, 2021.
